Cosmetology Edu Classes’ 4 Hr Manicurist’s CE Course is designed for licensed employed cosmetologists who need to obtain continuing education credits (license renewal) in order to meet the continuing education requirements for Manicurist's, Beauticians, nail technicians, nail technologists and Onychologist.
Sanitation 2 hour
This 2-hour class is designed to provide information regarding sources of infection and contamination and personal protection. It also covers decontamination, cleaning, disinfecting and storage of implements and equipment, along with safety and sanitary procedures.
Nail Health
This 1-hour class is designed to introduce basic concepts of nail anatomy, common nail conditions a cosmetologist might encounter while providing services to clients, along with common misconceptions about nail health.
Health & Safety
This 1 hour class is designed to provide information regarding the role of micro-organisms in the human life-cycle - both good and bad. It covers common types of infectious germs, pathogens and disorders, how to recognize symptoms of infection in your clients and yourself, how to protect yourself against infection, the importance of maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, and methods of implementing standard safety procedures that can protect both you and your clients from injury.
